TRANSCENDENTALISM
Transcendentalism, just like metamorphosis, is an idea that also greatly interests me along with the aesthetic nature of the word itself.
I wanted my poster to look like something out of Tron or Alien the movie. Using the green text like an old system would in an 80's movie and the geometric shapes fading, it really brought my idea alive for this poster.
AID + NEGLECT
Aid + Neglect is a poster that combines two opposites. This was a fun little project that helped me learn how to better use the pen tool when drawing the hands.
Once again, I wanted to include more lines and shapes to add to the text. I liked how simple this one came out and the colors really compliment each-other.
METAMORPHOSIS
Metamorphosis is a word I've always enjoyed saying and reading. I started off this project with this word and tried to design a poster around it. I thought the idea of something changing in shape would be fun to show, even if it's simple.
I really wanted to also include the aesthetics of the late 80's into my poster since it is a style I love working with regularly.
